Corrective medicine. No tricks. No magic pills. He next day was supposed to be about making nice calls to schedule my CT scans. I expected to go back to my doctor on Monday and get prescription medications given to me with our orders, and pictures taken and talked about the same day. So, I thought, much better.
After the PD scope I got an appointment to see our Dr's on Monday. I wanted to be here with my kids and my husband. But I needed to wait for a couple of days, so, I scheduled my surgery.
When I got back from the restaurant I went straight to my appointment. It was a routine procedure that included putting on the dress and shoes, and then going through some ultrasound scans.
For thirty minutes, I had doctors, technicians and my own sister on the line with me. They were definitely fantastic. The process definitely felt sterile and I had no idea how much concern it would take off.
After the whole process I got an injection to rule out all the general implants and psychological problems that it had on my heart. Then, I got my IV the next morning. The nurse in our room wanted to take an extra measure for a change.
So, this procedure also included my heart's electrical signals also had to be checked and regulated. So, this procedure really had me a little out of body. I am a on the run not seen since I was my birth-mother. So, it's very out of body. However, the nurse put it like I was a close-up dress and hairdo, so, I was freaked out that she didn't do my hair up in a ponytail.
Later in the day, we were scheduled to see our family OB. My mom was there, and it was good to see some of my girls on my timeline, and they brought over some snacks and candy for us. My husband (who is from Jacksonville, FL and got an appointment that looked like this (notice, the gas pen is also in the bottom left corner) made sure to get some drinks, snacks and food delivered into the room as I noticed that they would be charged for all food and snacks for everyone in the room. These purchases should account for a lot of money! Which is why my cake tray is now on my lap. LOL. I haven't had it since.
2pm today: As much as I just missed this appointment, it's at lunchtime today at 2, which is better than noon. So, I have more time to get ready, play three online games with my kids so they don't forget me, and then enjoy a long lunch at the end of the day. Thank God.
As I walked out I noticed one more thing, I thought if I take my phone, then we could take the baby. Ok, I was in my birthday outfit with large earrings. It took a while to find a joke to work with my earrings, but I eventually found it. So, as I walked, I thought to pick up something special to wear to the office as I made my way to the cafeteria, that will be where I meet my mom. So, I went over there and she greeted me with tears in her eyes, which was very cute. This was sweet. So, now, I had been seen and will be in an office.
I thought to my way of recording time with a fake phone call, so I put on the Nike Casuals in brown with a big number 9 emblazoned on the front. I guess I was surprised to see the guy who answered the phone. And, he seemed shocked, like he wasn't expecting it. Because, I literally asked him to call my mom, and I shared how hard it was to go there, and she answered, saying she would be right there at the cafeteria with me. Aw.
So, as I walked in, I saw my mom enter. This was also surprising as she was wearing sweatpants and a baggy tee shirt with a pair of black sneakers. We hugged, but not too tightly. It just felt like we were in each other's paths, and I gave her a big hug as we spoke for about two minutes. Yeah, I guess this hospital doesn't have a guest service, and my mom refused to come outside to eat our lunch and thank me for my meals.
I guess, she knew I would be going back home now, and she could finish taking the food for my mom that was sitting in the locker room.
Anyway, things went too smooth for me and I carried my food and table with me to the bathroom. I gave it to my mom and made sure I did not spill any of my food. And, I drove home too.
